derek jeter engaged??
Hearts are breaking all over New York (and perhaps the world!) at the rumor that Derek Jeter is secretly engaged to his girlfriend Minka Kelly.
Kelly, an actress, supposedly has caught Jeter’s attention to the point where he’s ready to make it official. A source close to the couple says they will get married “in the fall.”
Minka’s reps have also denied the upcoming nuptials, saying, “There is no fall wedding planned to Derek Jeter.” The Friday Night Lights actress has squashed rumors in the past that she and Jeter are even dating.Though her reps deny any nuptials, close friends confess they are being told to “save the date” for a fall wedding, once the baseball season is over.
Apparently the two lovebirds are telling close friends to keep the super secret wedding date open.
Kelly, for her part, is denying that they are engaged. She did this as most actresses do, their her rep. But she also denied she was dating Jeter in the first place a while back, and we already know that’s not true. So who knows.
What is it about that Yankees shortstop? He has been linked to some major babes (Maria Carey, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson and Jordana Brewster) prior to his relationship with Kelly, but could Minka finally be the one that ties this handsome Yankee down?
